Foreign tourists spend more money in 2012

Foreign tourists spend more money in 2012, according to the latest Egatur survey. The tourists who have visited Spain, has spent 23.644 million Euros the first 6 month of 2012.
This is an increase of 5.6% compared to 2011. Up until June, Spain has had more than 25 million foreign tourists. This also an increase of 2.9% compared to 2011.

Also the rental market for holiday homes, is doing well. The latest numbers from “Rentalia.com” shows the holiday homes up 15 km. from the coast has an occupancy rate of 85,9%. A number, which is expected to increase the next days ahead, as a lot of Spanish families, will plan their holiday in the last minute.

These figures goes well hand in hand, with what we can see on the Costa Blanca, where the number of tourists especially this summer has been very high.
