Costa Calida

Costa Calida, Mar Menor

The Costa Calida is the approximately 250 km stretch of Mediterranean coastline of the Spanish province of Murcia. This region has a micro-climate, created by the surrounding mountains. It features comparatively hot annual temperatures (and hence its name, “Warm Coast”).

Costa Calida offers many beautiful and interesting places to visit. Here is a couple of places, recommended by Mediter Real Estate:

The old arab city, Alhama de Murcia. It is amazing to walk around in. Enjoy a fish restaurant in first line, just beside the ocean in Cabo de Palos. Or go back in history and visit the old “war city” of Cartagena. You can also take a walk on the beautiful promenades in Los Alcázares or enjoy the unspoiled nature and beaches in the nature park of Calblanque. See how the wine is made in Jumilla, enjoy architecture and culture in the Capital of the Region in the city of Murcia or take a trip to one of the beaches on La Manga del Mar Menor.
