Actually you can more or less do it today, by going to Sierra Nevada near Granada. Now the Valencia Region is looking to make an indoor ski and snowboard center on Costa Blanca. The thoughts are to place it near the amusement park Terra Mitica in Benidorm. According to the spokesperson the new center will be 10.000 m2 big, have a fall of 50-60 meters and 1.5 kilometers of pists.

Furthermore has the owner of Terra Mitica presented plans for three new hotels next to the amusement park with more than 4.000 beds.
