Ryanair gets local competition on flights between Alicante and Madrid

The many daily flights between Madrid and Alicante will no longer be flown from Iberia flights. Rather has Iberia, which is the largest shareholder in low-cost airline Vueling, choosen to use mainly just Vueling flights on this route. Furthermore, even more flights from Vueling will be flying from Alicante.From 23rd June 12th September, Vueling will be testing the interest in flights between Alicante and the holiday island of Ibiza.

Today Vueling is flying from Alicante to Barcelona and Paris.
