Plans for a new park in Torrevieja

An exciting new project is coming to Torrevieja in the form of a new park. The municipality has received € 362,643 to employ workers under training, and it is estimated that the project in total will cost over one million euros.

The 40-acre area is located between Avenida Tiziano and streets Granados and Henri.

There will be built a playground, 14 petanque courses, and an area with facilities set aside for ball games such as basketball, football and handball. So there should be plenty of possibilities for games, sports and playing amongst other outdoor activities in the future park.

Furthermore, it should be mentioned that there are a number of seats in the shade, which is mounted devices with benches. There was therefore also be ample opportunity for a nice Sunday picnic in the park.

In the more technical terms it is worth mentioning that there will be automatic watering of the plants, so the park stays fresh and natural.
