The sun is almost always shining in Spain

We had for a long time talked about buying a house in Spain. We spent many hours online, looking at new and old, big and small in both south and north. But we did not have the courage to take the step so we just kept talking and dreaming.

Then something changed, someone recommended us to talk to Mediter. We made the call, and the next day, Carsten Lange was sitting in our kitchen – he happened to be in Denmark. We received a very pleasant introduction about how to purchase a house in Spain. We clearly felt, that this was a company with an eye for details.
We immediately booked an inspection trip and made a list of criteria and wishes. We had 3-4 very nice days in Spain, together with Gitte. She had found a number of properties that matched exactly our wishes and criteria.
We drove, we looked, we talked for 3 days. Nothing was left to chance, and all questions were taken seriously.
So about 1 month after we had a visit to Carsten in our kitchen, we signed a purchase contract for our new home in Spain. Everything felt right, and we were totally at ease. We got in contact with a lawyer, that help us getting a bank accounts, insurance, as well as application to NIE number and so on. All we had to do was look forward to coming back to Spain.

We could follow the construction process through the pictures we continuously received from Mediter. The thing  to remember, however,  is that things take time – also in Spain. The date for the takeover of our house, got delayed . But we had no worries about this, because we knew  that Mediter was keeping an eye on things and we were constantly informed about how fare in the process we were.
There has also been great help and support from Mediter, after we took over our house. Anette has been by our side when we have needed it. She is always ready to investigate, search and find, no matter what we need.
