Meet Saxo Bank-SunGard in Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia

The roads around the Costa Blanca is currently stocked with both professionals and amateur cyclists. Training up to the races this spring has started. A part of the preparation to many of the bigger teams is the Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia. Among Saxo Bank riders is Tour de France winner Alberto Contador.

Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia will run over 3 days.

The start will go on 4th March from San Pedro del Pinatar to Alhama de Murcia.

The first stage offers only a few mountains.

 

2nd stage is runs from Estrella de Levante (Murcia) and into the natural mountain park Sierra Espuña where riders will race in both category 1 and 2 mountains.
