Continued reduced VAT for new property buyers in Spain

In the second half of 2011 new homes in Spain were sold at a reduced VAT from 8% to 4%. The Legal text of the VAT on new homes in 2012 was the first days of January 2012 written quite unclear. It seemed to be only residents in Spain who stood to benefit from the VAT reduction. This is now written entirely clear, and applies to all in 2012.
