Surrounding area

The small city Pilar is located in a special place in the province of Alicante. It is the most southern town in the Comunidad Valenciana, on the natural border of the Region de Murcia. So it lies close to the lovely beaches of Torre de la Horadada. The area offers a typical Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in summer and protection by surrounding mountains against the North winds in winter.
