More seafront promenade in Torrevieja

Since Spain took a big hit from the crisis, Torrevieja has been very active with improvements all over the city. Several new parks, playgrounds, promenades, a huge sports area and much more has opened since 2008. Most people gets positively surprised when seeing what Torrevieja has to offer of cultural and sports activities.

Now another promenade is on its way in Torrevieja. The new promenade will be made from the popular beach Playa de los Naufragos towards the protected nature area Cala Ferris. The promenade will be proximately 2 kilometers and will pass La Veleta and Mar Azul. Cala Ferris is located just north of Punta Prima.
