Hotel at La Torre Golf Resort is sold and reopens soon.

Good news for La Torre Golf Resort. The 5 star hotel, which has been closed since 2013 i now sold and is going to be reopened soon.

The new owners “Phoenix Group” are a Chilean family owned business conglomerate based in Santiago de Chile.

I has interest within real estate, tourism, renewable energy and financial investments. Among its projects is “Talinay Estates”, a huge real estate and tourism promotion in the north of Santiago, with an area of ​​over 25,000 hectares along 23 kilometers of coast line to the Pacific Ocean.

Phoenix Group already owns a luxury resort in Marbella called La Quinta.

When the Chilean Group  invested in Marbella in 2014 they announced the group’s intention to continue its expansion in the Spanish housing market which has been confirmed by this investment.

Apart from the Hotel at La Torre Golf Resort the Chilean group has also bought the Limonero and La Encinca restaurants, as well as the Woodhouse golf bar, Pinos bar, Bamboo bar  and the conference centre in the center of the Resort.

This good news for all involved in La Torre Golf Resort is coming just a few month after, that is was confirmed that Polaris World has now paid in excess of 2 million euros of outstanding community fees.
